HTML5 and CSS3 Fundamentals

HTML5 and CSS3 are some of the most integral and evolving web technologies that enable you to structure content and present it on the web. This course demonstrates how to use advanced HTML5 multimedia features such as video, audio, and animation.

Knowledge of these languages will help students create web pages that are easy to read and appealing to users. This course is designed to lay the foundation for mastering these two popular web publishing technologies and also focuses on the new and advanced features of HTML5, covering how to create HTML5 and CSS3 markup that will work well on the widest possible variety of web browsers, mobile devices, and machine readers, such as search engine web crawlers. The course also demonstrates how to use advanced HTML5 multimedia features such as video, audio, and animation.

JavaScript Essentials

The JavaScript Essentials online training course is designed to teach students the fundamentals of JavaScript programming. This course is critical for someone trying to get into web development and wanting to learn more about JavaScript fundamentals.

Introduction to Python

Python is developed under an OSI-approved open source license, making it freely usable and distributable, even for commercial use. Python is a general-purpose programming language. Created nearly 30 years ago, it is now one of the most popular languages out there to use. Its popularity is particularly important in the data science and machine learning fields. But it is also a language that is easy to learn, and that is why it has become the language most taught in universities.

Python interpreters are available for the main operating systems as well (Linux, Mac OS, Windows, Android, iOS, BSD, etc.) so it’s very flexible in where it is used. Python has a simple syntax that makes it suitable for learning to program as a first language. The learning curve is smoother than other languages such as Java, which quickly requires learning about Object Oriented Programming or C/C++ that require understanding pointers. Still, it’s possible to learn about OOP or functional programming in Python when the time comes.

Java Programming

Java is a general-purpose programming language that is concurrent, class-based, object-oriented, and specifically designed to have as few implementation dependencies as possible. Being that Java is an underlying technology and required by many applications and websites, you will find it in places like business applications, data centers, game consoles, utilities, desktop computers, laptops, smartphones, and more.

This online training course will cover various levels of Java Programming including beginner, intermediate, and advanced. It covers a complete introduction to object-oriented programming as well as many other core Java features. This course is just as helpful for a beginner as it is for systems engineers, web application developers, mobile app developers, software engineers, and any other potential student with a technical background.

Microsoft 70-486: Developing ASP.NET MVC Web Applications

This course is for Microsoft developers that are ready to start building enterprise web applications and would like to take the Microsoft 70-486: Developing ASP.NET MVC Web Applications certification exam. Taking this course will provide you with training in web development, C Sharp, HTML and CSS, SQL Server, JavaScript, Object Based JavaScript, Model View and Controller, and jQuery.

It helps in focusing on the activities of coding that can help in enhancing the performance and scales of the web applications. The students will be introduced to ASP.NET MVC and will learn how to compare the applications with WebForms. This will assist learners with various tools and technologies.

Microsoft 70-480: Programming in HTML5 with Javascript and CSS3

This course provides developers with the knowledge and skills for utilizing HTML, JavaScript, and CSS3 to develop and style web applications and interfaces. This course provides credit towards the MCSD certification.

This course is designed for developers with at least one year of experience with programming the fundamental business/application logic for an assortment of application types and hardware/software platforms using JavaScript. We also recommend that students have at least one to two years of practice with HTML in an object-oriented, event-driven programming model.

Adobe Dreamweaver

Dreamweaver is a website building software. This software has been around for over 20 years and was originally developed by a company called Macromedia until it was bought out by Adobe in 2005. Adobe has changed and improved this software over the years in many respects, but at its essence, Dreamweaver is still exactly what it was when it began: A simple to use but powerful website building tool. One of the things that made Dreamweaver such a powerful program was the ability it gives the designer to view both the code of the website as well as the preview of what the code is making. Websites are made out of computer language codes, and one of the most common is HTML. Dreamweaver supports a variety of languages including HTML, HTML5, CSS, PHP, Javascript, and jQuery. Dreamweaver is relatively easy to use and has a great interface. Because it is an Adobe product it syncs with other CC applications and integrates well with them. It also will have familiar tools to you if you are already a CC user. It allows you to enter and edit code directly, which is great, but it also has tools to help you build code if you are a beginner or unfamiliar with certain aspects of code. This allows for someone who is still newer at coding to jump right in and begin to do some light coding right away. Dreamweaver has the ability to test your code and make sure everything is functioning properly before you make your site live.

Adobe Portfolio

Adobe Portfolio is an online, social-media based website editor, that allows creative professionals to create, manage, and personalize their work, in order to showcase this work to other users. This course is great for anyone in the Graphic Design field, as well as all those involved in a Creative profession.

Adobe XD

XD is a VECTOR based software program for user experience applications. It is used to create prototypes, wireframes, and designs for interactive screen-based applications like websites and mobile apps. This software was developed by Adobe initially in 2015, it was released to the public in its first non-beta form at the end of 2017. A full-version is available on both the macOS as well as Windows. There is also a version available for IOS and Android, but that version is not for creating designs, it is just a tool for previewing designs already made. It is a great tool for creating really fast design prototypes for screen and mobile based-applications created by UI and UX designers. There are animation and interactivity features built into the software that allows you to not only create stunning visual designs for web-based applications, but you can then turn them into working prototypes that your developers can test. These allow for lots of feedback on your design before any actual programming begins and will save you a lot of time in development. You can also use the app to create videos of you using the prototype right within Adobe XD. This allows you to show the way you intended the app to be used without any confusion and you can also use these videos to build funding from outside sources showing them the design ideas you plan to implement.

Adobe Fonts

Adobe Fonts is a service that allows users to access a library of high-quality fonts. These fonts can be obtained and used in numerous projects (ads, websites, and many more). This course is great for anyone in the Graphic Design field, or anyone else working in the creative field.

Agile Extreme Programming (XP)

Extreme Programming (XP) is an agile software development framework that facilitates the production of higher quality software, and a higher quality of life for the development team.

Extreme Programming is successful because it stresses customer satisfaction, as opposed to delivering everything the customer could possibly want on some date far in the future. The emphasis is on delivering the software in increments that provide the most value to the customer first. Extreme Programming empowers developers to confidently respond to changing customer requirements, even late in the life cycle.

To provide the benefits of this approach, XP emphasizes teamwork. Managers, customers, and developers are all equal partners in a collaborative team. XP relies on a simple, yet effective environment that facilitates the formation of high performing teams. The team self-organizes around the problem to solve it as efficiently as possible.

Microsoft .NET 4.5 Programming with HTML 5

.NET is an integral part of many applications running on Windows and provides common functionality for those applications to run. For developers, the .NET Framework provides a comprehensive and consistent programming model for building applications that have visually stunning user experiences and seamless and secure communication.

CSS Essentials

Whether you’re a web developer responsible for thousands of pages or a freelance web designer working on websites for local businesses, CSS is a very important skill to master. CSS or Cascading Style Sheets provides web developers and designers with the ability to create attractive web pages. This course will show all levels of users an introduction to CSS3, understanding of the CSS box model, working with page layouts, using colors and backgrounds, web typography, working with lists and tables, and dynamic CSS3 properties.

HTML Essentials

HTML is one of the main programming languages that power the internet. And once you master it, you can begin to create your own web content, whether it be simple websites or complex online applications. This online training course provides an in-depth look at the essentials of writing and editing HTML code.
